Virge Literary Magazine Now Accepting Submissions for the Spring!

 

We are now accepting submissions for consideration for the Spring 2015 issue of Virge, which will be published in May. All current FLVS students are eligible to submit work to be considered for publication in Virge. Submissions must be original works, be accompanied by a completed Submission Form, and meet the guidelines below.

 

The theme for this edition is “Two Cups of Tea” and submissions should adhere to this theme as you perceive it. The following types of submissions will be accepted until March 1, 2015 for this edition.

 

• Original artwork including paintings, drawings, and sketches

• Black & white or color photographs

• Fiction

• Non-fiction

• Poetry

 

All submissions must be original work with a title provided. Students can submit a total of three submissions and the submissions do not have to all be in the same category. Written pieces should be submitted as a Word document, Rich Text File or Plain Text File and should be no more than 1,000 words. Artistic pieces and photographs should be submitted as a JPG file with the highest resolution possible, but no larger than 10 MB in size.
